The friendship line is extra funny because of how vehement he gets with everything and then even calls Pansa an idiot: "Oh, no doubt Pansa either does not see this - for he is of dull intellect - or disregards it, for he does not care that Caesar's acts be ratified!"

but of course all said in the spirit of friendship, don't be mad at him
